He ran about fifteen yards and ran right into an old oak tree, fell backwards and expired within seconds.

Josh is the real deal. This guy hunts as hard as anybody and the results show. Well done Josh.

Re: Hello All
Sounds like a good time in the woods. I killed a buck with lip licker this year. Can't wait to hear more about your next hunting trip.

Re: Introducing John Griswold-HTS Field Staff Member
Well the archery season has started here in Indiana and man I have put some hours in the woods already. I have been out using the the Lip Licker every time I have been in the woods and so far it has proven itself to me. I have a chance at a 140" 10 pointer on the second night of season this year and let him walked by, then about 6 does came in and mulled around the area that I had the Lip Licker spot set up; the only bad thing that I could not see the does through the peep sight so they will live for another day. With the warm and very dry weather that we have been having I did go out today to find some standing water and came across a natural spring that looks like a hog woller, there was tracks and rubs and hardly anything growing as in vegetation with 40 yards of the spot. I got a tree ready for my climber and hope to hit that spot on Sunday - Tuesday evenings of this week due to it will be hotter in the evenings. I did find one more spot this morning that has been tore up with rubs, and found my first 2 really good ground scrapes and I am pumped in using some of the Dominant Buck w/ Tarsal gland in this location, I will run me a drag and squirt some in the bucks scrapes plus make a few more. I am going to hunt that spot in the morning and will post more tomorrow to let everybody know how that worked. Have a safe and fun hunt, and please take a kid hunting.John

Re: Introducing John Griswold-HTS Field Staff Member
Only 19 more days until season comes in and I am pumped. I just got back in from scouting, I personally have to go out early in the evening and get set up in the middle of a pick corn field to my scouting, normally the deer are 200 - 300 yards away from were the deer have been know to come out. I take everything from my video camera, spotting scope, and digital camera. I treat every scouting trip like a hunt in which I make sure I am scent free and in full camo. Tonight's adventure out in the field will be last scouting trip, it is getting just to close to season to take a chance on bumping a deer out of the area. I do have one or two more stands to hang and then I am done. If anybody has any question for me then please feel free to ask away, I will check back day-to-day and leave updates on how the season is going and how the products are working.
John
